Dr. Carpenter brings nearly 20 years of valuable and varied healthcare experience to mdDigest. She recognizes the importance of employing technology to provide more efficient, economical and accessible healthcare. She is a firm believer in using innovative technology to enhance patient safety and quality of care, improve doctor–patient communication and increase practice efficiency while controlling healthcare costs and providing patients with effective means by which to manage and share their personal health records. Although health is her passion, Dr. Carpenter also loves traveling with her husband and their adorable “mini-doodle”, Wrigley.
Jim Hansen, Corporate Advisor
mdDigest is honored to have Jim Hansen as part of our advisory team. During his day job he is President and CEO of CareEntrust, a Kansas City – based operational health information exchange sponsored by 24 and growing employers, including Sprint, H&R Block, Federal Reserve Bank, Cerner, State of Kansas and four health delivery systems. He possesses 24 years of business strategic planning, product development, marketing, information technology, business development and finance experience including 12+ years within the health care industry. He is currently a member of the federally-sponsored Healthcare Information Technology Standards Panel (HITSP) and the ASTM Health Care Standards Committee (E31).
